Wombats
I am happy to report that things are once again glorious. We are staying in a place called Newcastle and it is my kind of town. The beaches are stunning, the people are wonderful, and dinners at this hostel are FREE! Last night we drank goon and went Karaoke-ing with some other explorers. Dora kept herself in check though. Today we saw our first wombats and I couldnt believe how huge they are. I just returned from lying on the beach and working on my golden tan. Miss you all-mostly just wish everyone I loved lived in Australia!
Making Friends with hunger
Hello All!
Today was awesome until we attempted to navigate the Sydney transit system. This place is unbelievably massive. I am feeling a little bitter also as my camera broke and we found out how much a bus pass is going to cost us. All in all another 500 dollars of unexpected expensive. I didnt let the camera thing ruin my day by any means, but its starting to sink in now and I am freaking out a bit. Nonetheless, I am sure all this is just building much needed “character” so I will survive. Today was awesome as we hiked from Coogee beach to Bondi and passed through the most stunning cemetery in the world. Vicky and I also went in the ocean for the first time and I am happy to report I was not bit by a jellyfish!
The distance is beginning to sink in and I am expereincing homesickness this eveing as i attempt to swallow the nastiest instant soup EVER. On the bright side tommorrow we are getting out of Sydney and heading up the coast which will be a welcome change of pace.
sydney
Hi all! Its the morning of our second day and we are going to stay closer to the city centre tonight. Yesterday was jam packed with fun. We spent the morning on Cronulla beach and watched the surfers, then headed on the train into Sydney where we toured the harbour and opera house. We even saw streakers! Last night we came back and shared some Lindemans (Sorry Tom and Jesse) and hung out with people from the hostel. This world is truly small as the first peron we met is from Calgary and knows Tom and his famille! His name is Gary and his papa owns Wildwood. Crazy. This country is beautiful and full of silver foxes-Im lovin it!

I am safe in Hong Kong. I sat next to a man who snored but is also a former world ping pong champion. Fourteen Hours of flying time down. Another 9 to go! Love you all!
Alexis is going to other places! That have little to no snow!
This is not Alexis. This is a test post. However, I can report that she is excited and in the shower. Those two have no relation to each other.
